How We Help

Support that's organized around your school and grows with you.

Most school support is sold as individual services: a website, an enrollment system, a consultant. Montessori Thrive works differently. Every service we offer is organized around a single framework — eight areas of school operation, six stages of school growth — and delivered by people whose only job is to help your school succeed across all of it.

    The Thrive Blueprint

Eight areas. Six stages. One framework for what a thriving Montessori school actually requires.

The Thrive Blueprint is the organizing framework behind everything Montessori Thrive does. It maps the eight operational areas every school needs to succeed — across six stages of growth. When you work with Montessori Thrive, every service, every recommendation, and every conversation is organized around this framework. Not around what's easiest to sell. Around what your school actually needs.

"Every school that closes does so because something broke in one of these eight areas. Usually it wasn't the education. Usually it was something in the business — something nobody had trained the founder to handle."

    — Donna D'Hoostelaere, Founder of Montessori Thrive

    Mapped Across Six Stages

What each pillar requires looks different depending on where your school is. An enrollment system for a school in its first year looks nothing like an enrollment system for a school at full capacity trying to maintain it. A financial plan for a startup is a different animal from a financial plan for a founder thinking about transition. The Blueprint accounts for this — every recommendation is calibrated to your stage, not applied generically.

    How It Works

Everything starts with understanding where your school actually stands.

We don't recommend services before we understand your school. The Clarity & Action Plan is how we understand it. The Curiosity Call is how you decide if it's worth finding out.

    First

    The Curiosity Call

    Free · 30 minutes

A real conversation before you commit to anything. You tell us where your school is and what's feeling hard. We tell you honestly whether Montessori Thrive is the right fit — and if it is, what working together would actually look like. If it's not, we'll tell you that too.

    What it's not

Not a sales call. Not a discovery session that leads to a pitch deck. Just a conversation.

    The Clarity & Action Plan

    $250–$500 · One-time

A structured evaluation of your school across all eight pillars. We look at where you are, what's working, what's fragile, and what needs attention first. You leave with a written report and a prioritized plan — whether or not you work with us next. The Clarity & Action Plan fee is credited toward your first month of ongoing support if you move forward.

    What makes it different

We're not asking you what your problems are. We're trained to see them — and to distinguish the ones that feel urgent from the ones that actually matter most.

    A Thrive Partner

Monthly · Tailored to your stage

A trained Montessori Thrive partner works alongside your school to install and manage the systems your Clarity & Action Plan identified. Not a consultant who hands you a report and disappears. A real person doing real work — in your school's systems, on your school's problems, at whatever depth your stage requires.

    What makes it different

The partner isn't guessing at what to work on. The Clarity & Action Plan told us. And the Blueprint tells us how.

    What Your PA Works On

A real person working on the real problems inside your school.

A Montessori Thrive Professional Administrator (PA) isn't a virtual assistant and they're not a consultant. They're a trained operational partner — working inside your school's systems, across the areas that actually determine whether a school runs well.

Here's what makes them different from any Executive Assistant (EA) you'd find elsewhere: they don't just show up and figure it out. They come backed by the Thrive Blueprint, ThriveKit (our operational tech platform built specifically for Montessori schools), proven templates, checklists, and SOPs — and the institutional knowledge of what works at each stage of school growth. You're not just getting a person. You're getting a person running a system built specifically for schools like yours.

The specific focus depends on what your Clarity & Action Plan reveals and what stage you're at. But here's the range of what a Thrive PA can work on — and what that work actually means in practice.

    Enrollment Operations

Managing the full process that brings families in and keeps them — inquiry follow-up, tour systems, application tracking, waitlist management, and re-enrollment.

Not marketing. The operational process that makes enrollment happen consistently.

    • Inquiry and follow-up systems
    • Tour management
    • Application and waitlist tracking
    • Re-enrollment processes

    Administrative Operations

The day-to-day work that shouldn't require the founder — scheduling, recordkeeping, vendor management, parent communication workflows, and the administrative execution that keeps the school running.

    • Scheduling and calendar management
    • Vendor relationships
    • Parent communication systems
    • Administrative SOPs

    Staffing Support

Hiring coordination, onboarding systems, staff recordkeeping, credential tracking, and HR processes — so the right people are in the right roles and the documentation protects the school.

    • Hiring coordination
    • Onboarding and offboarding
    • Staff credential tracking
    • HR documentation

    Financial Operations

Budgeting, tuition modeling, billing, payroll coordination, financial reporting, and fundraising — so the founder has clear visibility into the school's financial position and capital development without doing it all themselves.

    • Budget preparation & forecasting
    • Tuition billing and collection
    • Payroll coordination
    • Financial reporting
    • Fundraising campaigns
    • Grant tracking
    • Donor communications

    Compliance & Licensing

Tracking licensing renewals, staff certifications, fire safety requirements, and the regulatory calendar — so nothing critical gets missed and licensing visits don't catch the school off guard.

    • Licensing renewal calendar
    • Staff certification tracking
    • Regulatory deadline management
    • State visit preparation

    Community Communication

Parent newsletters, event coordination, community updates, and the consistent communication that keeps families informed, connected, and trusting the school.

    • Parent newsletters
    • Event coordination
    • Community announcements
    • Family communication systems

    Leadership Support

Handling the operational detail that shouldn't be on the founder's plate — so leadership time goes to vision, culture, and the decisions only the founder can make.

    • Calendar and scheduling support
    • Meeting prep and follow-up
    • Delegation system setup
    • Operational reporting

    Facilities Coordination

Vendor coordination, maintenance scheduling, capital reserve tracking, and the operational oversight that keeps the physical school running without the founder managing every detail.

    • Vendor and maintenance coordination
    • Capital reserve tracking
    • Facility compliance monitoring
    • Renovation project support

Most EAs show up and work with whatever systems the school already has. A Thrive PA is different — they come backed by the Blueprint, ThriveKit, and the institutional knowledge of what works at each stage. The Clarity & Action Plan tells us which areas need attention first. The systems tell us how to work on them. The partner does the work — and stays as the school grows.

    What your partner does

The work looks different at every stage. Here's what it actually looks like.

A Thrive Partner isn't a generalist who figures it out as they go. They're working from the Blueprint — and they know what your stage demands before they walk in the door. Select your stage to see what the work actually looks like.

    Start

Getting the foundation right before the doors open.

At Start, your partner's job is to make sure the decisions that are hardest to undo get made correctly the first time. Entity formation, licensing pathways, facility evaluation, opening budget, tuition modeling, initial enrollment strategy. The work is structured, checklist-driven, and sequenced to match the actual order decisions need to be made in.

    What your partner handles:

    • Guides you through entity setup and business registration
    • Maps your state's licensing pathway and helps you prepare
    • Reviews facility options against program and licensing requirements
    • Builds opening budget and cash flow model
    • Models tuition at a number that's competitive and financially sound
    • Sets up initial enrollment systems before you have a single student

The Clarity & Action Plan In Depth

Built on knowing what actually breaks — across every stage of school growth.

The Clarity & Action Plan isn't a questionnaire you fill out alone. It's a structured conversation — guided by Montessori-trained professionals who have been in these schools, who know what the spreadsheets don't show, and who can hear the thing you're not saying and understand what it means.

We look at your school across all eight pillars. We look at where you are in the lifecycle. We look at what's urgent vs. what's important vs. what can wait. And we give you back a written report and a prioritized list of what to work on first — specific enough to act on, whether or not you continue with Montessori Thrive.

$250 for schools under 70 students · $500 for 70+ · The Clarity & Action Plan fee is credited toward your first month of ongoing support if you move forward.

Book Your Clarity & Action Plan

Before your Clarity & Action Plan call, you complete a short intake form covering the basics of your school — size, stage, where you think the problems are. We review your website and any materials you share. We come prepared.

A structured conversation across all eight pillars. We ask about what's working and what isn't. We listen for the things underneath the answers. This isn't a sales call — it's a thorough evaluation.

We build your written Clarity & Action Plan report: where your school stands across the eight pillars, what's most urgent, what's important but not urgent, and what we recommend working on first.

We walk you through the report together. You ask questions. We make sure the recommendations make sense for your specific situation. If ongoing support makes sense, we'll show you what that looks like and what it costs. No pressure to decide on the call.

    What you leave with:

    • A read on where your school actually stands across all eight pillars
    • Identification of what's working, what's fragile, and what needs immediate attention
    • A prioritized action list — not a general overview, a specific sequence
    • A clear picture of which services would actually help and which aren't worth your money yet
    • A written report you can share with your team
    Worth Being Clear About

A few things Montessori Thrive is not.

    Not a marketing agency

We don't lead with websites, SEO, or social media as standalone products. These are tools we use when the work requires them — not the thing we sell.

    A school operations partner

A school operations partner that uses marketing tools when the Clarity & Action Plan shows enrollment gaps are limiting growth.

Not a consultant who hands you a report

A report without execution support is often just an expensive list of things you already knew were broken.

A partner who stays in the work

A partner who stays in the work — installing systems, managing execution, and staying accountable for progress, not just recommendations.

    Not a one-size service

We don't sell packages. A school in its first year doesn't need the same support as a school planning its exit.

    Support calibrated to your stage

A partner whose work is calibrated to your stage and your Clarity & Action Plan results — which is why everything starts there.

And a few things your PA does not do

A Thrive PA leads systems, designs workflows, drafts communication, builds structure, and supports execution. What they don't do is make final decisions, assume legal or financial liability, or replace licensed professionals. Here's where the line sits.

    Final authority stays with you

Your PA doesn't make final hiring decisions, terminate employees, approve budgets, accept students, or override Head of School decisions. Every decision that carries institutional authority remains yours.

Legal and financial liability is not transferable

Your PA does not act as an accountant, file taxes, provide legal or financial advice, sign contracts, make regulatory filings, or assume liability for compliance, safety, or HR matters. Those require licensed professionals.

Classroom leadership stays inside the school

Your PA does not act as school principal, supervise teachers, direct classroom teaching practice, or engage in student disciplinary discussions. Everything inside the classroom wall belongs to your team.

    Outcomes are supported, not guaranteed

Your PA does not guarantee enrollment numbers, fundraising outcomes, or financial results. They build the systems and do the work — results depend on the school, the market, and the decisions you make together.
